NOVELTY - An iron phosphate-coated bowl-shaped hollow carbon sphere/graphene composite material comprises bowl-shaped-shaped iron phosphate-coated hollow carbon spheres with uniform size distribution and bowl-shaped size of 50-1000 nm, and graphene coated on the surface of bowl-shaped-shaped iron phosphate-coated hollow carbon spheres. USE - Iron phosphate-coated bowl-shaped hollow carbon sphere/graphene composite material is used as cathode material of lithium ion battery, sodium ion battery and potassium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The iron phosphate-coated bowl-shaped hollow carbon sphere/graphene composite material has excellent electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of iron phosphate-coated bowl-shaped hollow carbon sphere/graphene composite material, which involves adding silicon source and carbon source to a mixed solvent, stirring for 20-30 hours, centrifuging, repeatedly washing obtained product with ethanol and deionized water until the filtrate is colorless, drying, calcining obtained precursor in a protective atmosphere, cooling to room temperature, obtaining black powder, adding the black powder to 3-10 %mass hydrofluoric acid solution, stirring for 3-8 hours, filtering, repeatedly washing with deionized water until the pH value of the filtrate is 4-7, drying, refluxing obtained hollow carbon spheres with concentrated acid at 40-90 degrees C for 5-24 hours, filtering, repeatedly washing with deionized water until the pH of the filtrate is 4-7, drying, soaking obtained surface modified functionalized hollow carbon spheres in 1-10 mmol/L iron salt solution at 1-40 degrees C for 5-15 hours, filtering, soaking obtained hollow carbon spheres 1-10 mmol/L phosphate solution at 1-40 degrees C for 5-15 hours, filtering, repeating soaking process 1-10 times, filtering, washing with deionized water, drying, dispersing obtained iron phosphate-coated bowl-shaped hollow carbon spheres in deionized water, adding graphene or graphene oxide suspension, slowly adding surfactant solution, generating flocculant material, filtering, washing with deionized water, drying, calcining in a protective atmosphere, and cooling to room temperature.
