NOVELTY - The system (100) has an anode unit (102) from the selected group of magnesium, aluminum and zinc or their alloys. A cathode unit (104) includes graphene. The cathode and anode units are kept separate using spacers. A casing chamber (106) is provided for encasing the anode unit and cathode unit along with the electrolytes and spacers. USE - System for developing semi-metallic saltwater battery. ADVANTAGE - The semi metallic saltwater battery reduces and limits the metalloid contamination of environment overcoming the conventional fully metallic electrodes. The battery can conserve the environment and reduce the cost indirectly by reducing the cost for environmental conservation.
