NOVELTY - Preparing magnetic silicon oxide graphene comprises dispersing the graphene oxide in the glycol solution, ultrasonically vibrating for 2.5-3 hours, adding ferric chloride hexahydrate and sodium acetate, mechanically stirring for 2.5-30 minutes, placing the mixed solution into a stainless steel reaction kettle of polytetrafluoroethylene, reacting the sample at 190-200 degrees C for 5-6 hours, filtering, washing with water and ethanol and drying at 45-50 degrees C in an oven for 4.5-5 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing magnetic silicon oxide graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and quick; can adequately use the graphene oxide for high adsorption capacity of the naphthalene under effect of an external magnetic field; carries out rapid separation of magnetic oxide graphene material with the same sample solution; can repeatedly make full use of magnetic oxide graphene; reduces the amount of organic solvents; is economical and environmentally-friendly; and can effectively improve the detection limit of naphthalene in water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for detecting naphthalene content in water by solid phase extraction of magnetic graphene oxide comprising mixing the synthetic magnetic oxide graphene in a beaker containing an aqueous solution of naphthalene, fully stirring for 4-6 minutes, solid-liquid separation by placing the beaker outside the test for the 1T magnetic magnet for magnetic oxidation of graphene and solid solution separation of aqueous solution, cleaning by excluding the extracted aqueous solution and washing the magnetic oxidized graphene for three times with water, eluting by adding the elution solution to the magnetic oxide graphene, fully shaking for 30-60 seconds, carrying out magnetic separation of methanol and magnetic oxidation of graphene and detection by injecting methanol and carrying out chromatography detection of naphthalene content.
