NOVELTY - Zinc iodine mixed electrolyte comprises water as solvent, zinc salt as solute and 0.6-0.8 mol/l iodine salt as positive pole active material. The zinc salt is at least one of zinc sulfate, zinc chloride, zinc nitrate, zinc trifluoromethanesulfonate, and zinc bistrifluoromethylsulfonylimide. The iodized salt is potassium iodide and/or sodium iodide. USE - Zinc-iodine mixed electrolyte is used for zinc-based hybrid super capacitor battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The zinc-iodine mixed electrolyte is aqueous electrolyte, low viscosity, high ion conductivity, environment-friendly and safe, wide source and low cost, and has excellent cycle performance, higher multiplying power performance and longer shelf life.
