NOVELTY - A negative electrode comprises a super-lattice structure (100) formed by alternately laminating single-layer nanosheets (110) comprising manganese oxide and single-layer nanosheets (120) comprising graphene. USE - Negative electrode used for secondary battery (claimed) e.g. lithium-ion secondary battery used for portable electronic device and electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode provides secondary battery having high capacity, improved rate characteristics and charging/discharging characteristics, and long cycle life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of negative electrode, which involves preparing a dispersion liquid (a1) in which the sheet (110) is dispersed, preparing a dispersion liquid (b1) in which the sheet (120) is dispersed, and mixing the dispersion liquid (a1) and the dispersion liquid (b1); and (2) secondary battery, which comprises a positive electrode, the negative electrode, and an electrolyte located between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
