NOVELTY - The component has a first set of internal electrodes (121) and a second set of internal electrodes (122) alternately mounted with a corresponding dielectric layer (111) that is interposed between the first set of internal electrodes and the second set of internal electrodes. One of the first set of internal electrodes is provided with a metal layer containing nickel and tin. A first graphene layer is mounted on a lower surface of the metal layer. A second graphene layer is mounted on an upper surface of the metal layer. The first set of internal electrodes is provided with a first portion overlapping the second set of internal electrodes, and contributes to capacitance, and a second portion not overlapping the second set of internal electrodes. USE - Electronic component i.e. multilayer ceramic capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The component provides improved reliability, high temperature load lifespan and connectivity of the internal electrode and reduced capacitance.
