NOVELTY - Graphene functional fire retardant coating comprises component A and component B, where component A comprises 40-60 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 5-10 pts. wt. aluminum tripolyphosphate, 5-10 pts. wt. anatase titanium dioxide, 3-8 pts. wt. precipitated barium sulfate, 1-5 pts. wt. auxiliary agent, 28-40 pts. wt. solvent, and component B comprises 80-100 pts. wt. flame retardant, and 5-10 pts. wt. graphene-based substances. USE - Graphene functional fire retardant coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene functional fire retardant coating has synergistic effect of graphene-based substances and flame retardants, greatly improves fire-retardant performance of the coating, has good adhesion, superior chemical resistance, excellent fire-retardant performance, and broad application prospects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene functional fireproof coating, which involves: (A) using ball mill to grind aluminum tripolyphosphate, anatase titanium dioxide and precipitated barium sulfate, and grindingto a fineness of less than 30 micrometer; (B) using epoxy resin and the solvent into the reactor, stirring with a constant speed stirrer, adding the powder mixture after stirring, mixing, and setting aside; (C) mixing one-half of the mixture with one-third of the auxiliary agent, using a constant speed mixer to stir, stirring, and adding the remaining portion of the mixture and auxiliary agent, stirring to obtain component A; and (D) adding flame retardant and the graphene-based substance to the component A, stirring with a constant speed stirrer, and stirring to obtain a graphene functional fire-resistant coating.
