NOVELTY - Power generation system a fuel cell comprising a negative electrode and a positive electrode, that generate electricity by a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen, a separator having a separation membrane that selectively permeates hydrogen, and separator that obtains permeated gas and non-permeated gas from a mixed gas, a negative electrode gas supply path for supplying permeated gas to the negative electrode and the separation membrane has porous support layer and separation functional layer comprising at least one compound chosen from polyamide, graphene, metal organic framework and covalent organic framework on the porous support layer. A hydrogen storage tank is provided, where the negative electrode gas supply path supplies the mixed gas from the hydrogen storage tank to the separator, and a permeated gas to the fuel cell or supplies a permeated gas from the separator to the hydrogen storage tank, and supplies a gas in the hydrogen storage tank to a fuel cell.
