NOVELTY - A pitch-type carbon short-fiber filler exhibits flat surface as observed through scanning electron microscope, and graphene sheet as observed through transmission electron microscope closed in the filler end surface. The pitch-type carbon short-fiber filler has mean-fiber-length of 10-40 mu m as observed through optical microscope. USE - Pitch-type carbon short-fiber filler for composition used for molded products for electromagnetic-wave shielding material, heat exchanger and heat radiation material used for electronic components (all claimed). Can also be used for aeronautical navigation, space field, industrial robot, sports products, and construction and civil engineering field. ADVANTAGE - The pitch-type carbon short-fiber filler has excellent thermal conductivity, productivity, electromagnetic-wave shielding property and moldability.
