NOVELTY - Preparing nickel sulfide and graphene oxide composite material, comprises dispersing certain amount of graphene oxide (GO) into deionized water under ultrasonic treatment to obtain uniformly dispersed graphene oxide suspension; transferring mixed solution together with piece of 2×3 cm2pretreated nickel foam (NF) to the reactor, and reacting in an oven at 180℃ for 12 hours; washing the product obtained with ethanol and deionized water for several times and then drying to obtain the composite material of graphene oxide and nickel foam; placing the graphene oxide and nickel foam composite material in a porcelain boat, weighing a certain amount of sulfur powder and place it in another porcelain boat; putting the two porcelain boats into the tube furnace, putting the porcelain boat containing sulfur powder on the upstream, and putting the porcelain boat containing foamed nickel on the downstream. USE - Method for preparing nickel sulfide and graphene oxide composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method provides a simple process flow, simple operation, low cost of a preparation method of composite material of nickel sulfide and graphene and the oxygen evolution catalytic application under the alkaline condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing nickel sulfide and graphene oxide composite material comprises dispersing a certain amount of graphene oxide (GO) into deionized water under ultrasonic treatment to obtain a uniformly dispersed graphene oxide suspension; transferring the mixed solution together with a piece of 2×3 cm2pretreated nickel foam (NF) to the reactor, and reacting in an oven at 180℃ for 12 hours; washing the product obtained with ethanol and deionized water for several times and then drying to obtain the composite material of graphene oxide and nickel foam; placing the graphene oxide and nickel foam composite material in a porcelain boat, weighing a certain amount of sulfur powder and place it in another porcelain boat; putting the two porcelain boats into the tube furnace, putting the porcelain boat containing sulfur powder on the upstream, and putting the porcelain boat containing foamed nickel on the downstream, and raising the temperature at a certain heating rate under nitrogen (N2) atmosphere to 400℃, then cooling to room temperature after keeping for a period of time, washing and drying the obtained product to obtain nickel sulfide and graphene oxide composite material; conducting an oxygen evolution test on the synthesized material; where the concentration of graphene oxide is 1mg/mL; the pretreatment of NF uses acetone, 1M hydrochloric acid (HCl), and deionized water to sonicating for 30 minutes at a power of 60W and an ultrasonic frequency of 40Hz; the vacuum drying pressure in the oven is 0.08-0.10 MPa, the temperature is 60℃, and the drying time is 12 hours.
