USE - The method is useful for preparing modified phenolic resin electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the modified phenolic resin electrode material with good electrical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing modified phenolic resin electrode material involves: (1) adding formaldehyde to a molten phenol under stirring, then adding 0.1-1 wt.% graphene oxide, stirring for 10-60 minutes and then adding 0.5-1 wt.% basic catalyst to obtain a solution (A), where the weight ratio of phenol and formaldehyde is 1:(1-1.3); (2) heating the solution (A) at 75-85 degrees C for 70-100 minutes and 90-98 degrees C for 20-40 minutes, respectively, and then maintaining the temperature for 30-50 minutes to obtain a solution (B); (3) immediately cooling the solution (B), when the temperature of the solution drops to 70-80 degrees C, dehydrating under reduced pressure, when the temperature of the solution drops to 60-65 degrees C, heating, when the temperature of the solution does not exceed 90 degrees C, maintaining the solution (B) in a constant boiling state, and stopping dewatering at 150 degrees C when the gel time reaches 80-120 seconds to obtain modified phenolic resin; and (4) heating the modified phenolic resin at a heating rate of 2-10 degrees C/minutes to 800-1100 degrees C under an inert gas atmosphere, heat preserving for 2-6 hours, and then cooling to room temperature.
