NOVELTY - Preparation of composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide prepared by Hummer method in deionized water, obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, mixing resultant with silver-silver chloride sol obtained using e.g. silver nitrate and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) solution, stirring, centrifuging, dispersing resultant in an alkaline solution, adding titanium dioxide powder, stirring, heating, hydrothermally reacting, centrifuging, washing, drying, grinding, and calcining resultant product in a protective atmosphere. USE - Preparation of composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of composite material having large specific surface area, and excellent photocatalytic effect in visible and ultraviolet regions, and contaminants-adsorption capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of composite material involves dripping silver nitrate to poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) solution, obtaining a silver dispersion, adding sodium chloride solution and glucose solution to resultant dispersion, uniformly stirring, heating, hydrothermally reacting, centrifuging, dissolving resultant product in deionized water, obtaining a silver-silver chloride sol, dispersing graphene oxide prepared by Hummer method in deionized water, obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, mixing resultant with silver-silver chloride sol, stirring, centrifuging, dispersing resultant in an alkaline solution, adding titanium dioxide powder, stirring, heating, hydrothermally reacting, centrifuging, washing, drying, grinding, and calcining resultant product in a protective atmosphere.
