NOVELTY - Graphene oxide/silver phosphate/P25 composite comprises graphene oxide, silver phosphate and P25. The surface of silver phosphate particles with particle size 200-400 nm is coated with P25 particles of particle size 2-30 nm and deposited on the surface of a graphene oxide layer. The composite material has photocatalytic decomposition rate of more than 80% WRT 25 ppm rhodamine B solution in 2 minutes and complete decomposition rate in 6 minutes. USE - Graphene oxide/silver phosphate/P25 composite. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide/silver phosphate/P25 composite has excellent photocatalytic decomposition property with respect to organic dye under visible light, and broad spectrum bactericidal activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene oxide/silver phosphate/P25 composite comprises graphene oxide, silver phosphate, and P25. The surface of silver phosphate particles having a particle size of 200-400 nm is coated with P25 particles having a particle size of 2-30 nm, and the silver phosphate particles are deposited on the surface of a graphene oxide layer. The composite material has a photocatalytic decomposition rate of more than 80% with respect to 25 ppm rhodamine B solution in 2 minutes and complete decomposition rate in 6 minutes under visible light. The composite has a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity with respect to Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus pumilus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The inhibition zone diameter is greater than 10 mm, the minimum inhibitory concentration is less than 100 ppm, and the minimum bactericidal concentration is less than 200 ppm. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene oxide/silver phosphate/P25 composite, which involves dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water ultrasonically to a concentration of 0.04-0.1 wt.%, adding silver nitrate and P25 to deionized water, ultrasonically treating to obtain a mixed solution containing 0.15 mol/L silver nitrate and O.5-1 5 wt.% P25, dripping the mixed solution into graphene oxide dispersion liquid, magnetically stirring for 30-60 minutes at room temperature to obtain a mixed precursor solution, dissolving phosphate in deionized water to obtain 0.15 mol/L phosphate solution, adding to precursor solution, magnetically stirring for 30-60 minutes to obtain a green solution, allowing to stand, aging after centrifugally separating the product, washing with absolute ethyl alcohol and deionized water repeatedly, and vacuum-drying. The mass ratio of graphene oxide and P25 is 1:6-30.
