NOVELTY - Preparation of molybdenum carbide/graphite nano belt composite material involves dissolving ammonium heptamolybdate and glucose in water, preparing a homogeneous salt solution, dripping a graphene oxide nano belt aqueous dispersion, stirring for predetermined time, forming a uniform dispersion, subjecting to hydrothermal reaction at predetermined temperature, centrifuging, cleaning, drying, and carbonizing in inert gas atmosphere at high temperature. USE - Preparation of molybdenum carbide/graphite nano belt composite material used as high-performance electrocatalytic material and electrode material for lithium-ion battery and supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables in-situ preparation of molybdenum carbide/graphite nano belt composite material having excellent electroconductivity, controllable shape and high specific surface area.
