NOVELTY - A cyclodextrin-graphene microsphere is prepared by (1) preparing graphene oxide solution and cyclodextrin solution; (2) mixing prepared graphene oxide solution and cyclodextrin solution, evaporating, adding reducing agent, vacuum drying to obtain cyclodextrin-graphene composite; (3) adding obtained cyclodextrin-graphene composite with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dimethyl silicone oil (PDMS), dropping toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI) as cross-linking agent, diluting with acetone and hexane; and (4) successively washing with tetrahydrofuran, distilled water, and ethanol and vacuum drying. USE - Preparation of cyclodextrin-graphene microsphere for removing heavy metal ions and organic pollutants in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Product has low cost and large specific surface area, reduces agglomeration of graphene, and adsorbs more organic pollutants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A cyclodextrin-graphene microsphere is prepared by (1) preparing graphene oxide solution and cyclodextrin solution; (2) mixing prepared graphene oxide solution and cyclodextrin solution, evaporating, adding certain amount of reducing agent, shaking for some minutes, evaporating moisture, vacuum drying to obtain cyclodextrin-graphene composite; (3) adding obtained cyclodextrin-graphene composite with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dimethyl silicone oil (PDMS), heating, stirring, dropping toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI) as cross-linking agent, continuously stirring, cooling, diluting with acetone and hexane, filtering to obtain microsphere; and (4) successively washing with tetrahydrofuran, distilled water for 2 times, and ethanol, collecting product, and vacuum drying. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a graph of a relationship of adsorption amount of organic pollutant and its initial concentration in water.
