NOVELTY - Preparing polydopamine modified carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres involves slowly adding carbon black powder to graphene oxide dispersion under stirring to obtain a mixed dispersion, and then spray-drying the mixed dispersion to prepare carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres. The carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres are dispersed into tris buffer solution, added polydopamine powder under stirring at room temperature for 18-28 hours, washed with ionized water for 2-4 times, and then dried at 50-70 degrees C for 24-48 hours to prepare the polydopamine modified carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres (PDA/CG). USE - Method for preparing polydopamine modified carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres used in a fuel cell to prepare methanol fuel cell catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the polydopamine modified carbon black-graphene oxide composite microspheres in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with high-yield, excellent performance and improved catalytic performance.
