NOVELTY - Wear-resistant modified neoprene cable material comprises e.g. 8-15 pts. wt. ceramic particles, 0.001-0.003 pts. wt. graphene, 3-6 pts. wt. modifying agent, 10-15 pts. wt. polyethylene having low degree of polymerization, 35-55 pts. wt. neoprene, 0.3-0.8 pts. wt. coupling agent and 0.1-0.3 pts. wt. cross-linking agent, where the modifier is a mixture of polyethylene wax and silicone rubber, the low degree of polymerization of polyethylene is 350-500; the degree of polymerization neoprene is 1600-2500; the coupling agent is anilino-methyl-triethoxysilane. USE - The neoprene cable material is useful for cable sheath layer. ADVANTAGE - The neoprene cable material: has improved wear resistance and increases service life of the cable. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing wear-resistant modified neoprene cable material comprising (i) treating the ceramic particles with coupling agent, (ii) coating ceramic particles treated with coupling agent with modifying agent, (iii) extruding coated ceramic particles and graphene, polyethylene having low degree of polymerization, neoprene, cross-linking agent by extruder to obtain to obtain final product.
