NOVELTY - Preparing a graphene composite fiber comprises (i) taking raw materials, (ii) adding 4, 6-diaminoresorcinol hydrochloride, terephthalic acid, polyphosphoric acid, phosphorus pentoxide, stannous chloride, a graphene material and a modifier into a reaction kettle, gradually heating under the protection of nitrogen, reacting, vacuumizing and cooling to obtain a graphene (poly (p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) fiber (PBO) polymer, placing the resultant graphene PBO polymer into a double-screw extruder, carrying out melt spinning, primarily stretching a graphene PBO filament, drying and winding to obtain the graphene PBO filament fiber, (iii) immersing the resultant graphene PBO filament fibers into an acid solution and completing the etching treatment on the surfaces of the fibers, and (iv) preparing coating slurry, then placing the resultant modified graphene PBO fiber into a slurry tank, carrying out sizing treatment, drying and winding to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing a graphene composite fiber. ADVANTAGE - The composite fiber: has high strength, excellent anti-cutting and anti-ultraviolet performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene composite fiber prepared by the above mentioned method.
