NOVELTY - Assay electrode comprises composition comprising matrix and dispersed several graphene particles, where the assay electrode has a binding domain comprising a binding reagent, and the binding reagent is immobilized on surface of the electrode. USE - The assay electrode is useful in apparatus or multiwell plate for conducting electrochemiluminescence assay (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The assay electrode is utilized in apparatus that screens chemical libraries for potential therapeutic drugs, and performs large numbers of analyses at very high speeds even using small quantities of samples. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) apparatus for conducting an electrochemiluminescence assay; (2) multiwell plate; and (3) assay module.
