NOVELTY - Preparing phytic acid-modified graphene oxide involves adding 5-15 ml oxidized graphene solution (GO) with a concentration of 1-2.5 mg/ml to 100-180 ml deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing for 10-20 minutes, slowly dropping sodium hydroxide solution into the oxidization graphene solution after ultrasonic dispersion treatment, adjusting the pH value of the solution to 7.5-8.5, adding 2-3 g phytic acid (PA) solution to the solution after adjusting pH value, stirring at room temperature to fully react, washing the reaction product obtained in step (3) by using deionized water, centrifuging the product after box dry, where the obtained solid material is a filler. USE - Phytic acid modified oxidized graphite preparation method for anticorrosive waterborne epoxy coating used for preventing corrosion caused by chloride ion in marine environment. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and easy to operate. The graphene oxide and phytic acid functional group improves the dispersibility of the graphene oxide in the aqueous epoxy coating, and obviously improves the corrosion resistance of the coating in the seawater environment. The method provides the coating with better anti-corrosion performance and excellent anticorrosion effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: an anticorrosive aqueous epoxy coating composed of aqueous epoxy resin, curing agent and filler, where the filler is phytic acid modified graphene oxide; and preparation of anticorrosive aqueous epoxy coating composing adding the filler and curing agent into the aqueous epoxy resin, uniformly mixing and coating on the low alloy steel substrate, namely obtaining the aqueous epoxy coating.
