NOVELTY - Splicing ultra-thin lithium foil comprises providing at least two ultra-thin lithium foils with film support, unwinding at least two ultra-thin lithium foils supported by film and laying side by side with bare lithium sides facing same side, providing support layer, where the adhesion of supporting layer to lithium is greater than adhesion of supporting film to lithium, and width of support layer is greater than or equal to total width of at least two ultra-thin lithium foils supported by film, placing bare lithium side of film-supported ultra-thin lithium foil and support layer opposite to each other, using rolling mill for rolling for adhering multiple ultrathin lithium foils from support film to support layer, and separating at least two support films of ultra-thin lithium foil supported by film to obtain spliced ultra-thin lithium foil supported by support layer. USE - The method is useful for splicing ultra-thin lithium foil. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple to operate; solves the production problem of wide-width ultra-thin lithium foil; and can be mass-produced from roll to roll. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Splicing ultra-thin lithium foil comprises providing at least two ultra-thin lithium foils with film support, where film-supported ultra-thin lithium foil comprises supporting film and ultra-thin lithium foil with thickness of less than 100 microns, and has bare lithium surface and bare film surface opposite to bare lithium surface, unwinding at least two ultra-thin lithium foils supported by film and laying side by side with bare lithium sides facing same side, providing support layer, where the adhesion of supporting layer to lithium is greater than adhesion of supporting film to lithium, and width of support layer is greater than or equal to total width of at least two ultra-thin lithium foils supported by film, placing bare lithium side of film-supported ultra-thin lithium foil and support layer opposite to each other, using rolling mill for rolling for adhering multiple ultrathin lithium foils from support film to support layer, and separating at least two support films of ultra-thin lithium foil supported by film to obtain spliced ultra-thin lithium foil supported by support layer. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: plicing lithium belt; a spliced ultra-thin lithium foil or lithium belt prepared by above mentioned method; and a splicing device.
