NOVELTY - Insulating material comprises 30-45 pts. wt. of high density polyethylene, 3-7 pts. wt. of initiator, 2-5 pts. wt. of grafting agent, 20-30 pts. wt. of low density polyethylene, 1-6 pts. wt. of catalyst, 1-6 pts. wt. of antioxidant, 2-3 pts. wt. of nano silver powder, 2-4 pts. wt. of de-foaming agent, 10-15 pts. wt. of stearic acid, 5-8 pts. wt. of nylon, 3-8 pts. wt. of modified graphene oxide, 1-2 pts. wt. of titanium pigment, 1-2 pts. wt. of ultraviolet absorbent and rest is water. USE - Insulating material for cable (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The insulating material is prepared in simple manner, has good bending resistance, good corrosion resistance, prolonged service life and is suitable for popularization. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing insulating material, which involves : (A) grinding graphene oxide, nano silver powder, titanium pigment and water in ball mill for 1-2 hours; (B) putting ground materials into high speed dispersion machine for 20-30 minutes to obtain mixed filler; (C) putting high density polyethylene in dried molecular plug; (D) controlling drying time and drying temperature; (E) mixing dried high-density polyethylene, initiator, nylon and grafting agent in high speed mixer for 30-50 minutes to obtain first master batch; (F) mixing low density polyethylene, catalyst, antioxidant and stearic acid in high speed mixer for 30-50 minutes to obtain second master batch; (G) mixing obtained first master batch and second master batch; (H) adding ultraviolet absorbent in an ultrasonic wave dispersing machine; (I) dispersing for 30-40 minutes; (J) putting into granulator to be granulated to obtain insulating parent material; (K) putting obtained insulating parent material in sealed space with water; (L) irradiating in sunshine for 2-9 days; and (M) drying to obtain insulating material.
