NOVELTY - Preparing iron-loaded graphene-based tungsten disulfide nano lubricant additive comprises e.g. (i) adding aqueous-soluble tungsten and sulfur source into water to dissolve to form tungsten and sulfur source aqueous solution, mixing and using strong acid solution to adjust mixed solution to acidity; (ii) adding graphene oxide into solution ultrasonically to obtain first suspension; (iii) reacting first suspension at 170-200 degrees C and 2-4MPa; (iv) cooling reaction liquid, centrifuging, washing, freezing and drying to obtain graphene oxide-based tungsten disulfide composite nano material; (v) adding graphene oxide-based tungsten disulfide composite nano material into soluble iron salt solution ultrasonically to obtain a second suspension; (vi) heating second suspension to 80-100 degrees C, adding strong alkali solution to adjust mixed solution to neutral or alkaline and refluxing to react; and (vii) cooling reaction liquid, centrifuging, washing, drying and calcining dried product. USE - The method is useful for preparing iron-loaded graphene-based tungsten disulfide nano lubricant additive. ADVANTAGE - The method produces iron-loaded graphene-based tungsten disulfide nano lubricant additive which has water resistance, oxidation stability, extreme pressure and wear resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing iron-loaded graphene-based tungsten disulfide nano lubricant additive comprises (i) adding aqueous-soluble tungsten and sulfur source into water to dissolve to form tungsten and sulfur source aqueous solution, mixing and using strong acid solution to adjust mixed solution to acidity; (ii) adding graphene oxide into solution ultrasonically to obtain first suspension; (iii) reacting first suspension at 170-200 degrees C and 2-4MPa; (iv) cooling reaction liquid, centrifuging, washing, freezing and drying to obtain graphene oxide-based tungsten disulfide composite nano material; (v) adding graphene oxide-based tungsten disulfide composite nano material into soluble iron salt solution ultrasonically to obtain a second suspension; (vi) heating second suspension to 80-100 degrees C, adding strong alkali solution to adjust mixed solution to neutral or alkaline and refluxing to react; and (vii) cooling reaction liquid, centrifuging, washing, drying and calcining dried product under protection of nitrogen to 300-400 degrees C. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for iron-loaded graphene-based tungsten disulfide nano lubricant additive, prepared as specified above.
