USE - High flame-retardant polystyrene cable material. ADVANTAGE - The high flame-retardant polystyrene cable material has high flame retardancy and popularization and application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing high flame-retardant polystyrene cable material, which involves: (A) weighing polystyrene, polypyridyl modified graphene oxide, fumed silica, nano calcium carbonate, synergistic flame retardant, flame retardant, smoke suppressant and plasticizer according to weight ratio; (B) mixing the polystyrene and polypyridyl-modified graphene oxide in a single-screw extruder; (C) granulating to obtain base resin; (D) heating internal mixer at 51-54 degrees C; and (E) adding base resin with stirring for 5-9 minutes at 82-89 degrees C.
