NOVELTY - Method for preparing zinc oxide nanoparticle/graphene oxide composite material, involves (a) dissolving the graphene oxide in dimethyl sulfoxide, and subjecting obtained solution to ultrasonically peeling process and centrifugation to obtain homogenous solution of graphene oxide, (b) dissolving the zinc salt in dimethyl sulfoxide, stirring and clarifying obtained solution, and (c) slowly adding solution obtained in step (a) to the solution obtained in step (b), subjecting obtained solution to ultrasonic treatment, and processing obtained product. USE - The method is useful for preparing zinc oxide nanoparticle/graphene oxide composite material which is used as dye adsorbent (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing zinc oxide nanoparticle/graphene oxide composite material, involves (a) dissolving the graphene oxide in dimethyl sulfoxide, and subjecting obtained solution to ultrasonically peeling process and centrifugation to obtain homogenous solution of graphene oxide, (b) dissolving the zinc salt in dimethyl sulfoxide, stirring obtained solution, and clarifying the solution to obtain transparent solution, and (c) slowly adding solution obtained in step (a) to the solution obtained in step (b), subjecting obtained solution to ultrasonic treatment, stirring obtained solution, adding alcohol solution and alkali metal hydroxide solution in drop-wise manner while stirring process, continuously stirring mixture, subjecting mixture to centrifugal separation, and washing obtained product.
