NOVELTY - Preparing graphene nano-rod comprises preparing carbon material and graphene oxide by Hummers method, adding sulfuric acid/potassium permanganate under low ice bath condition, filtering the mixture with micro-pore filtering membrane to obtain light yellow transparent solution, dissolving transparent solution in mixed liquid of diethyl ether/ethanol to form floc, then filtering and washing to obtain nanoscale graphene quantum dots and nano-graphene sheet, adding graphene oxide and sulfuric acid/potassium permanganate, and ultrasonically reflowing in a microwave reactor. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene nano-rod (claimed), which is useful as transparent electrode in an intelligent window, a super capacitor, a micro super capacitor, lithium battery, solar battery and FET. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene nano-rod comprises preparing carbon material and graphene oxide by Hummers method, adding sulfuric acid/potassium permanganate under low ice bath condition, filtering the mixture with micro-pore filtering membrane to obtain light yellow transparent solution, dissolving transparent solution in mixed liquid of diethyl ether/ethanol to form floc, then filtering and washing to obtain nanoscale graphene quantum dots and nano-graphene sheet, adding graphene oxide and sulfuric acid/potassium permanganate in a volume ratio of 3:1-7:1, ultrasonically reflowing in a microwave reactor, keeping dialysis solution under alkaline condition to obtain graphene quantum dots, adding reducing agent, graphene quantum dots and nano-graphene sheet with alkaline solution, and then annealing at high temperature.
