NOVELTY - Fluorine-free water repellent finishing method of fabric comprises: (i) preparing a sol by normal method to obtain solution-A; (ii) dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain solution-B; (iii) uniformly mixing the solution-B and solution-A to obtain complex finishing liquid-C; (iv) placing the base fabric in complex finishing liquid-C, removing excess liquid to obtain primary processed fabric; (v) subjecting the processed fabric to reduction treatment, washing with deionized water to obtain secondary processed fabric; and (vi) baking the secondary processed fabric and drying. USE - Used as fluorine-free water repellent finishing method of fabric. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Fluorine-free water repellent finishing method of fabric comprises: (i) preparing a sol by normal method to obtain solution-A, where the sol includes silica sol, titania sol, alumina sol, magnesium oxide sol, other metals and/or non-metallic oxide sol; (ii) dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain 0.1-0.5 wt.% solution-B, where the graphene oxide is single-layer structure with radial size of 5-40 mu m; (iii) uniformly mixing the solution-B and solution-A in a volume ratio of 1:10 to obtain complex finishing liquid-C; (iv) placing the base fabric in complex finishing liquid-C at 90 degrees C for 10-1000 minutes, removing excess liquid to obtain primary processed fabric; (v) subjecting the processed fabric to reduction treatment, where the graphene oxide is reduced to graphene, washing three times with deionized water to obtain secondary processed fabric; and (vi) baking the secondary processed fabric at 50-90 degrees C for 3-30 minutes, then drying at 95-130 degrees C for 10-100 minutes. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for fluorine-free water repellent finished fabric, comprising the base fabric with surface water contact angle of 110-152 degrees .
