NOVELTY - Nano silicon dioxide and graphite micro powder are added into graphene oxide dispersion liquid, and a dispersant is added and dispersed ultrasonically to form a suspension. The mass ratio of graphene oxide to silicon and graphite micro powder is 5:20. The suspension is spray dried, and pelletized to obtain spherical precursor. The precursor is reduced at 500-800 degrees C in inert atmosphere to obtain graphene coated silicon-carbon composite cathode material. USE - Manufacture of silicon and carbon-coated graphene composite cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon and carbon-coated graphene composite cathode material has high electroconductivity, structure stability, and is manufactured without using a binder, by a simple and easy process. The cathode material provides batteries with high design property, cycle performance, high-current discharging performance and high tap density.
