NOVELTY - Preparing a silicon-based cathode material, comprising: taking silicon oxide as a raw material, performing surface modification treatment on the silicon oxide raw material, and then combining the surface-modified silicon oxide with a few layers of graphene to prepare silicon-based capacity unit, and then mixing the silicon-based capacity unit and the carbon-based material. USE - The method is useful for preparing silicon-based cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The method can improve the reversible capacity and coulomb efficiency of the lithium ion battery, and reduce the volume expansion.
