NOVELTY - Preparation of high stability trogtalite (CoSe2)/graphene composite electrode material involves dispersing graphite oxide in glucose solution, isolating, centrifuging to get graphene oxide solution; taking ethanediol, dripping ammonia, mixing, dissolving cobalt acetate into graphene oxide solution, adding ethanediol, stirring to get homogenous cobalt hydroxide and graphene oxide mixed sol; aging; and adding mixed sol into hydrothermal reactor, adding selenium powder, dropping sodium hydroxide solution, sealing, filtering, and drying. USE - Method for preparing high stability trogtalite/graphene composite electrode material (claimed) used as cathode catalyst for increasing catalytic activity in acid medium, reducing catalyst cost and enhancing battery performance of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The material has high stability, simple and easy operation, mild reaction condition, low raw material cost, high electro-catalytic activity, and strong resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of high stability trogtalite (CoSe2)/graphene composite electrode material comprises synthesizing graphene oxide by weighing 200 mg graphite oxide, dispersing in 100 ml glucose solution, isolating by ultrasound, centrifuging, collecting supernatant to get graphene oxide solution; taking 10-15 mL ethanediol, dripping 1-2.5 ml low concentration ammonia water, mixing and stirring, dissolving cobalt acetate into graphene oxide solution, gradually adding ethanediol, stirring at 60-75 degrees C for 0.5-1.5 hours to obtain homogenous cobalt hydroxide and graphene oxide mixed sol; vacuum aging at 30-60 degrees C and 70 Pa for 5-10 hours; and adding mixed sol into hydrothermal reactor, adding selenium powder, dropping 4-6 ml sodium hydroxide solution, sealing in autoclave at 160-180 degrees C for 12 hours, vacuum filtering, and vacuum drying.
