NOVELTY - Preparing load type noble metal catalyst by plasma-based method, comprises (i) ultrasonically treating carrier material with deionized water, acetone or ethanol for 1 hour, and then drying, (ii) placing ultrasonically processed carrier material in a plasma processing equipment, vacuumizing and then passing a specific gas for plasma treatment, (iii) dissolving at least one noble metal-containing noble metal salt in a solvent at 1-1000 mg per 100 ml solvent, and then adding 0-0.5 volume weak reducing agent per ml of the solvent, (iv) soaking the carrier material treated in step (ii) in the noble metal salt solution at 0-100 degrees C for loading reaction, and (v) washing the sample prepared in step (iv) using deionized water, filtering, and drying for 3-5 times to obtain final product. USE - The noble metal catalyst is useful for catalytic reactions and electrocatalytic reactions, preferably small molecule redox reactions. ADVANTAGE - The noble metal catalyst achieves better performance than commercial noble metals. The method: is simple and convenient to carry out; and has low production cost.
