NOVELTY - Polypropylene based composite current collector, comprises a polypropylene layer (1), a modified layer (2) and a metal layer (3) arranged in a stack. The modified layer is formed by grafting a hydroxy-terminated acrylate and a layered double metal hydroxide onto the polypropylene layer through ultraviolet-induced polymerization. USE - The polypropylene based composite current collector is useful in battery of electric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The collector has strong interlayer bonding, and stable structure, and has stable surface tension of the modified polypropylene film after standing for three months. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing polypropylene-based composite current collector, comprising providing the polypropylene layer, making the surface of the polypropylene layer contact with a modifying liquid and preparing a modified layer on the polypropylene layer by using ultraviolet light-induced polymerization and grafting, and depositing the metal on the surface of the modified layer to prepare a metal layer.
