NOVELTY - The method comprises: generating a plasma gas; passing the plasma gas through water or an organic compound to generate a functional group; binding the functional group on a surface of a material; and coating graphene on a surface of the material bonded with the functional group. The plasma gas is generated using microwave under an atmospheric pressure. The material is molten galvanizing steel plate, electric coating steel sheet or cold rolled board. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing a graphene coated steel plate (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of manufacturing the steel plate with improved wettability and excellent cohesive power between graphene and the steel sheet and without requiring separate binder and without modifying the surface property of the steel sheet.
