NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/butyl rubber complex masterbatch comprises (i) taking isobutylene and isoprene, reacting in the presence of methyl chloride and aluminum chloride at -100 degrees C to -90 degrees C to obtain slurry, and (ii) mixing above slurry with an aqueous graphene solution at 25-85 degrees C, flashing, and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene/butyl rubber complex masterbatch. ADVANTAGE - The method: has short time-consuming, simple operation, safe and environmentally friendly, and prepared complex material has excellent mechanical properties and very suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) graphene/butyl rubber complex masterbatch prepared by the above mentioned method; and (2) graphene/polymer complex material comprising 0.5-100 pts. wt. the graphene/butyl rubber complex masterbatch, 1-150 pts. wt. polymer, 0-20 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 0-20 pts. wt. sulfur, 0-20 pts. wt. plasticizer, 0-20 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0-10 pts. wt. accelerator, 0-10 pts. wt. flame retardant and 0-100 pts. wt. fillers.
