USE - Metal-carbon composite material for negative electrode of electrochemical device (claimed) e.g. lithium battery. ADVANTAGE - The metal-carbon composite material has a lithium atom diffusion coefficient of 10-10-10-6cm2/second, inhibits the continuous growth of negative electrode dendritic crystal in the battery, thus accelerating the heat dissipation of battery, and provides a highly safe and uniform negative electrode for ion deposition, thus improving the cycle performance of battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of metal-carbon composite material, which involves heating the metal phase and adding carbon material to obtain a mixed solution, heating and stirring the mixed solution to form a uniform dispersion, and leaving still, cooling and pressing the uniform dispersion.
