NOVELTY - Method for preparing a honeycomb denitration catalyst involves (1) uniformly mixing a manganese oxide, a selenium oxide and a praseodymium oxide precursor with deionized water, adding titanium dioxide and mixing to obtain a mixture (A), (2) dry-mixing stearic acid, glass fiber and graphene oxide to obtain a mixture (B), (3) adding the mixture (B) to a mixer containing the mixture (A) for one-time mixing, (3) adding a mixed binder consisting of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, silica sol, starch and water to the mixer for secondary mixing to obtain a paste, (4) aging and molding process, (5) refining mud, (6) extruding and molding, (7) primary drying, (8) dipping indium oxide precursor, (9) secondary drying and (10) calcining. USE - The method is useful for preparing a honeycomb denitration catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method provides the monolithic honeycomb denitration catalyst which has surface adsorbs sulfur-resistant active components and a specific surface area of greater than 200 m2/g, the mesoporous concentration distributed between 35 nm, an axial strength of 2.272.34 Mpa, a radial strength of 0.620.71 Mpa and conversion of nitrogen oxides maintained at a conversion rate of 80-85% under the condition of flue gas containing water and sulfur oxides.
