NOVELTY - Preparing a nickel oxide/fourth period transition metal oxide/graphene ternary complex electrode material comprises performing calcination of the ternary complex electrode material precursor in an inert atmosphere to obtain the ternary complex electrode material, where the precursor of the ternary complex electrode material is a product obtained by precipitation and separation of a mixture of multiple raw materials, the multiple of raw materials comprises fourth period transition metal salt, nickel salt, inorganic base, and graphene oxide, the precursors formed after the fourth period of the transition metal salt and the nickel salt are precipitated by an inorganic base can be calcined under an inert atmosphere to obtain transition metal oxides and nickel oxide respectively. USE - The method is useful for preparing a nickel oxide/fourth period transition metal oxide/graphene ternary complex electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and easy to operate; improves charge-discharge specific capacity of the material, the cycle stability of the transition metal oxide and performance of the electrode material of the lithium ion battery; reduces the preparation cost of lithium ion electrode materials; and is suitable for large-scale industrial production.
