NOVELTY - Graphene-based antibacterial polyester masterbatch, comprises 100 pts. wt. polyester chips, 5-8 pts. wt. graphene composite antibacterial agent, and 0.2-0.3 pts. wt. dispersant. The graphene composite antibacterial agent is prepared by dissolving piperazine in acetone, adding potassium carbonate, refluxing at 70°C for 1 hour, adding 1,3-dibromopropane, continuing to reflux, cooling to room temperature, filtering, distilling the filtrate under reduced pressure, adding deionized water, keeping the organic phase, adding anhydrous magnesium sulfate to dry, filtering, distilling, drying in vacuum to obtain intermediate 1, adding intermediate 1, N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and isopropanol into a round-bottomed flask, stirring, reacting in an oil bath, mixing the pre-modified graphene oxide with the sodium hypochlorite solution, sonicating, stirring, centrifuging, washing with deionized water, drying to obtain a graphene composite antibacterial agent USE - The antibacterial polyester master batch is useful in clothes, home textile and as an important raw material of high-end clothes and home decoration. ADVANTAGE - The antibacterial polyester master batch: has high-efficiency antibacterial effect. The graphene composite antibacterial agent and polyester matrix have good compatibility, which can realize the uniform dispersion in the polyester, obtain effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-based antibacterial polyester masterbatch, comprises 100 pts. wt. polyester chips, 5-8 pts. wt. graphene composite antibacterial agent, and 0.2-0.3 pts. wt. dispersant. The graphene composite antibacterial agent is prepared by (1) dissolving piperazine in acetone, adding potassium carbonate, refluxing at 70°C for 1 hour, adding 1,3-dibromopropane dropwise, and continuing to reflux after 12 hours, cooling to room temperature after the reaction, filtering, and distilling the filtrate under reduced pressure, adding deionized water for extraction, keeping the organic phase, adding anhydrous magnesium sulfate to dry, filtering, distilling under reduced pressure, and drying in vacuum to obtain intermediate 1, (2) adding intermediate 1, N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and isopropanol into a round-bottomed flask, stirring and reacting in an oil bath at 50°C for 48 hours, after the reaction is complete, rotary steam, adding precipitated petroleum ether, centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain intermediate 2, (3) ultrasonic dispersing graphene oxide in anhydrous dichloromethane for 30 minutes, adding 1-Bis(dimethylamino)methylene-1H-1,2,3-triazolo4,5-bpyridinium 3-oxide hexafluorophosphate and N,N-diisopropylethylamine, continue ultrasonication for 20 minutes, adding intermediate 2, stirring and reacting for 12 hours, and finally centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain pre-modified graphene oxide, and (4) mixing the pre-modified graphene oxide with the sodium hypochlorite solution with a mass of 10% according to the solid-to-liquid ratio of 1 g:30 ml, in an ice-water bath , keeping the system temperature at 0-4°C, sonicating for 20 minutes, stirring for 2 hours, centrifuging, washing with deionized water for 3-4 times, drying to obtain a graphene composite antibacterial agent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing Graphene-based antibacterial polyester masterbatch, comprising uniformly stirring the resin master batch, graphene composite antibacterial agent and high carbon alkane, extruding by double-screw co-extrusion device, cooling the extruded resin wire by room temperature purified water, then cutting into granules by a granulator, completely cooling and drying to obtain the antibacterial polyester master batch.
