NOVELTY - Antistatic dynamic vulcanized silicone rubber thermoplastic elastomer comprises 20-80 pts. wt. silicon rubber, 20-80 pts. wt. thermoplastic polyurethane, 1-5 pts. wt. antistatic filler, 1-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 0.1-5 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0.1-5 pts. wt. cross-linking agent and 0.01-2 pts. wt. first catalyst. USE - Used as antistatic dynamic vulcanized silicone rubber thermoplastic elastomer. ADVANTAGE - The elastomer is suitable for skin and environmentally friendly and has excellent antistatic property, excellent mechanical property, repeatable processability, and smooth surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the thermoplastic elastomer, comprising (i) preparing the silicone rubber, thermoplastic polyurethane, compatibilizer and antioxidant, placing into an internal mixer, mixing at 160-200degrees Celsius for 10-30 minutes, extruding the strands through a single screw at 165-185degrees Celsius, cooling to room temperature and cutting into pellets; (ii) mixing the particles with the carbon-based antistatic filler and crosslinking agent in a high-speed stirring pot, adding twin-screw extruder to melt and blend, and extruding and granulating, and (iii) mixing the particles with the first catalyst, adding into a twin-screw extruder for dynamic vulcanization, and extruding and pelletizing.
