NOVELTY - Transition metal cobalt-loaded graphene three-dimensional macroscopic catalyst comprises carrier and active component, where carrier is graphene, active component is dispersed on the carrier, and active component is cobalt oxide including cobalt oxide and cobalt(II,III) oxide. USE - The catalyst is useful for catalyzing and activating the organic matter degraded by persulphate (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst: has high catalytic performance and excellent cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - AN INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing transition metal cobalt-loaded graphene three-dimensional macroscopic catalyst comprising (i) preparing graphene oxide dispersion liquid, sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine solution and crosslinking agent solution, (ii) adding sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine solution into graphene oxide dispersion, stirring, then adding crosslinking agent solution, and stirring to obtain mixed solution, (iv) freeze-drying the mixed solution obtained in step (ii), and (iv) carrying out reduction reaction using a high-temperature thermal reduction method to obtain cobalt-supported graphene three-dimensional macroscopic catalyst.
