NOVELTY - Preparation of myristyl acid-modified nano-titanium dioxide-graphene oxide/multi-polymer composite leather finishing agent involves adding butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, to compound emulsifier for pre-emulsification to obtain pre-modified monomer(I), adding octadecyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, and styrene to compound emulsifier for pre-emulsification to obtain pre-emulsified monomer(II), adding tetradecyl acid modified titanium dioxide nanoparticles or graphene oxide nanosheets, butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, benzene ethylene and acrylic monomers to compound emulsifier for emulsification to obtain emulsion (III), adding initiator to emulsion(III), stirring mechanically, heating to 70-90 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours, adding pre-emulsion monomer(I) and initiator to reaction system , heating after reaction system completed to 70-90 degrees C, continuing for 0.5-2 hours, adding pre-emulsified monomer(II) and initiator drop wise to reaction system, and obtaining target product. USE - Preparation of myristyl acid-modified nano-titanium dioxide-graphene oxide/multi-polymer composite leather finishing agent. ADVANTAGE - The preparation of myristyl acid-modified nano-titanium dioxide-graphene oxide/multi-polymer composite leather finishing agent provide method of emulsion polymerization using water as solvent has no pollution and economical, shortcomings of the traditional solvent-based coating agent that is highly toxic and polluting. The coated leather has high strength and excellent toughness, which improves hydrophobicity, thermal stability, weather resistance and thermal insulation performance of coated leather, and provide environmentally-friendly leather finishing agent.
