▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Process for obtaining high viscous nanocomposites, comprises (a) mixing epoxy resin with a dispersion of graphene oxide in ethanol with a minimum concentration of 3 g l-1, in the proportion of 0.5-3% graphene oxide mass in relation to the mass of epoxy resin, by low shear mixing, (b) keeping the mixture obtained in step (a) at rest until complete phase separation is observed, (c) removing the supernatant obtained in step (b), (d) adjusting the concentration of the material obtained in step (c), after removing the supernatant, by adding epoxy resin, to obtain a concentration of 0.01-1% graphene oxide mass in relation to the mass epoxy resin, and (e) removing the residual solvent from the system obtained in step (d). USE - The process is used for obtaining high viscous nanocomposites (claimed). The nanocomposite is used in the polymer industry. ADVANTAGE - The process obtains nanocomposite in a simple and fast manner, without the use of advanced techniques or costly equipment such as ultrasound or roller mills to carry out mixing steps and evaporation of solvents, the addition of curing agents, or even the functionalization of the polymer matrix and the nanoload. The method is simple due to a specific combination involving the concentration of graphene oxide (GO) in solvent, the type of solvent, the concentration of GO in epoxy resin, the mixing method and the standing time. The process enables the spontaneous and homogeneous phase transfer of the nanomaterial to the polymeric matrix and also the crosslinking of the polymer with the nanomaterial, thus forming polymeric material with improved mechanical properties such as viscosity, and greater thermal stability, when compared to epoxy resin without the addition of nanomaterials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for high viscosity nanocomposite obtained comprising graphene oxide and epoxy resin in the proportion of 0.01-1 %mass graphene oxide in relation to the epoxy resin, and having viscosity of 40-10000 Pa.second under shear rate at 1 s-1and 25° C and degree of crosslinking of 1-20%.
