NOVELTY - Preparation of cobalt-nickel base composite material involves placing base material into electroplating solution, and forming cobalt-nickel base composite material on surface of the base material in electrodeposition mode. The electrodeposition has deposition current density of 110-130 mA/cm2. The deposition time is 20-30 minutes. USE - Preparation of cobalt-nickel base composite material used for manufacturing corrosion-resistant electrolytic material for hydrogen evolution electrode used in electrolytic water device for producing hydrogen and in household electrical appliance (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides cobalt-nickel base composite material, which has good catalytic hydrogen evolution effect, and can effectively reduce the production cost.
