NOVELTY - Color masterbatch based on nano microcapsule encapsulation technology comprises polypropylene, thermal conductivity additives, microcapsule toner and nucleating agent, where polypropylene, thermal conductivity additives, microcapsule toner and nucleating agent are mixed and then added to twin-screw extruder, extruded and granulated to obtain temperature-sensitive color masterbatch grain. USE - Color masterbatch based on nano microcapsule encapsulation technology. ADVANTAGE - The color masterbatch based on nano microcapsule encapsulation technology helps in improving temperature sensitivity of thermochromic color masterbatch; improves sensitivity of microcapsule toner in masterbatch to temperature changes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing color masterbatch, which involves: (A) taking certain weight of polypropylene, placing polypropylene in blast drying box at 40-60 degrees C, and blast drying for 2-12 hours to obtain dried polypropylene; (B) taking high-density polyethylene, compatibilizer, thermal conductivity additives, microcapsule toner, nucleating agent, and dried polypropylene, then mixing in mixer for 10-20 minutes to obtain premix; and (C) adding premix into segmented twin-screw extruder, heating, melting at 220-240 degrees C, extruding, pelletizing after 30-60 minutes, where extrusion temperature is 230-250 degrees C, and screw speed is 250-350 rotation/minute, then cooling extruded sample in air, and pelletizing to obtain temperature-sensitive color-changing masterbatch.
