▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A composite material comprises thermosetting polymer reinforced with natural fiber. USE - Composite material for multilayer ballistic armor system used in personal vest and military vehicle (all claimed) to protect against rifle shooting with high impact ammunition. Can also be used in automotive and civil engineering application for manufacturing components. ADVANTAGE - The method optimizes the thickness of the heavier first ceramic layer and consequently reduces the weight of the multilayer armor system. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the composite material; (2) composite plate; (3) ceramic material, which has a thickness of 7, 8, 9 and 10 mm. The material is prepared using 4 %mass alumina doped with niobium pentoxide, and powders of alumina, niobium, and polyethylene glycol; (4) manufacture of the ceramic material; (5) multilayer armor, which comprises the composite plate glued with polyurethane adhesive to a ceramic front layer for eroding the projectile and attenuating its impact; and (6) composite in multilayer ballistic system.
