▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Composite material comprises a magnesium alloy and a layer made of nanoscale graphene platelets on at least a part of the surface of the magnesium alloy. USE - The composite material is useful in passenger transport vehicle, preferably aircraft e.g. passenger aircraft, helicopter and unmanned aircraft, a spacecraft, transport vehicle, preferably railways and ships, automotive engineering, plant engineering, mechanical engineering and toolmaking and in an aircraft cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has improved strength and flame and corrosion resistance, low weight and is produced in cost-efficient manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing a composite material, comprising (a) providing a magnesium alloy, (b) providing nanoscale graphene platelets and (c) applying the nanoscale graphene platelets to at least a part of the surface of the magnesium alloy for producing a composite material.
