NOVELTY - Method for preventing corrosion of natural gas pipeline involves (i) polishing, cleaning and drying the inner surface of the pipeline, uniformly applying a graphene primer coating on the inner surface of the pipeline with a thickness of 0.05 mm, applying a graphene topcoat coating on the graphene primer coating with the thickness of 0.1 mm and finally curing at room temperature to form an anti-corrosion layer in the pipeline and (ii) polishing, cleaning and drying the outer surface of the pipeline, uniformly coating the graphene primer coating on the outer surface of the pipeline with the thickness of 0.05 mm, applying the graphene topcoat coating on the graphene primer paint with the thickness of 0.1 mm, adding a layer of polyethylene protective layer on the graphene topcoat coating with the thickness of 1.5 mm and finally curing at room temperature to form the anti-corrosion layer outside the pipeline. USE - The method is useful for preventing corrosion of natural gas pipeline. ADVANTAGE - The method provides the anti-corrosion layer inside and outside the pipeline, improves anti-corrosion effect of the pipeline, can effectively isolate corrosive medium such as water, oxygen, acid and alkali salts from the protected metal, achieves cathode protection effect for the pipeline, reduces the damage of the outer coating of the pipeline and has low use cost and strong practicability.
