NOVELTY - Composite polymer functionalized fiber comprises a protective layer, a spinning layer and a supporting layer arranged in sequence. The spinning layer includes composite polymer fibers. The composite polymer fibers include polymers and nanomaterials doped in the polymers. The polymer includes polyvinylidene fluoride, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylonitrile, polysulfone, polyimide, polyethylene glycol and/or other conductive polymers. The nano material is in the form of inorganic nanoparticles, nanosheets or nanotubes. The nano material includes ferroelectric, pyroelectric, and piezoelectric inorganic nanoparticles, carboxy modified graphene oxide nanosheets and multi-walled carbon nanotubes. USE - The fiber is useful in air purification or water purification (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fiber has sandwich structure of supporting layer spinning-protective layer, stable structure, uniform fiber, and controllable size.
