NOVELTY - Modified graphene coating comprises 55-70 pts. wt. ethyl orthosilicate, 1-3 pts. wt. silane coupling agent KH-5700 (trimethoxysilane), 3-5 pts. wt. styrene, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. benzoyl peroxide, and 5-10 pts. wt. modified graphene, where the modified graphene is edge graphene oxide prepared by the electrochemical oxidation method. USE - Modified graphene coating with good dispersibility. ADVANTAGE - The hydrophilic oxygen-containing groups are attached to the edge of graphene through an edge selective oxidation method, to improve the hydrophilicity of graphene, and at the same time chemically modify the silica ceramic resin to combine with organic structures containing benzene rings, as a result, the graphene and the silicon oxide ceramic resin are closely combined through pi-pi stacking, and a good dispersion of graphene in the silicon oxide ceramic resin is realized. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing modified graphene coating, which involves inserting two graphite electrodes into potassium bicarbonate electrolyte, where one graphite electrode is grounded, and the other graphite electrode is connected to a pulse power supply, and electrified for electrolysis to generate edge graphene oxide.
