NOVELTY - Preparing scratch-resistant polypropylene (pp) plastic comprises (i) preparing modified filler, (ii) adding modified filler to solvent, ultrasonically dispersing for 15-22 minutes under condition of frequency 20-60 KHz to obtain modified filler suspension, adding carboxylated polypropylene microwax powder to modified filler suspension, stirring at 200-400 revolutions/minute for 5-7 minutes, keeping rotating speed for stirring, and under the condition of frequency 60-100 KHz, ultrasonically treating for 10-20 minutes, uniformly dispersing carboxylated polypropylene microwax powder in modified filler suspension to obtain mixed slurry, adding mixed slurry to ball mill, milling it for 2-4 hours at speed of 240-400 revolutions/minute, and drying ball-milled product at 60-75° C to obtain composite filler, and (iii) mixing composite filler with polypropylene resin and adding to extruder for extrusion granulation to obtain scratch-resistant pp plastic. USE - The method is useful for preparing scratch-resistant polypropylene plastic. ADVANTAGE - The method: reduces surface friction coefficient of the plastic, and reduces hydrotalcite flakes and nano-silica exposed when plastic surface is scratched, which avoids obvious scratches. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for scratch-resistant pp plastic, prepared by above method.
